Welcome to the "unofficial" home page of Marshall High School Boy's Basketball. This site was created
to keep Lions fans up-to-date with the latest action and scores from the MHS games and the Little Illini Conference and
to promote the Marshall Assist Club, which supports the Marshall Basketball Program.

AUTOGRAPH SESSION AT THE MAC!
The Marshall Assist Club hosted an autograph session with the Marshall High School basketball
team at the "Mac" on Sunday, April 5th. Several fans brought shirts, basketballs, programs, pictures, and other items
that were signed by the team!
2008-09 WAS A RECORD SEASON!

LIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED!
Congratulations to Trey Brashear, Taylor Duncan, Logan Eitel, and Lucas Eitel for making

STATE THIRD PLACE FINISH!
The Lions defeated the Winnebago Indians in Peoria on Saturday night to claim the 3rd place

SUPER-SECTIONAL CHAMPS!
The Lions beat Stanford (Olympia) in overtime to claim the 2009 Macomb Super-Sectional
Title! Way to go LIONS!
SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME !

Regional Championship! Great job!
LIONS FINISH REGULAR SEASON UNDEFEATED!
The MHS basketball program finished the regular season undefeated at every level (Fresh-Soph
12-0, Junior Varsity 16-0, Varsity 26-0)...a combined total of 54-0! Congratulations!

LITTLE ILLINI CONFERENCE CHAMPS! The Lions captured the 2008-2009 LIC title and finished undefeated
in LIC play for the second year in a row. Back to back to back LIC titles...well done Lions!
ASSIST CLUB FUNDRAISER DINNER!
The Marshall Assist Club had a fundraiser dinner at the Marshall American Legion on Thursday,

LIONS BREAK CONSECUTIVE WINS RECORD!
The win at West Vigo tied the record of 17 consecutive wins, set in the 2004-2005
season. The Lions broke the record by defeating Edwards County on January 24th. The Lions continued winning...and
winning...and winning, eventually losing in Peoria in the State Semi-final game. The new streak is 31 consecutive
wins...congratulations!

Marshall defeated Lawrenceville in the championship game of the 2009 Little Illini Conference

Marshall defeated Sullivan in the Kessler Shootout at Tolono (Unity) high school...click

PIZZA HUT WABASH VALLEY CLASSIC CHAMPS!
The Marshall Lions defeated Owen Valley, Rockville, Terre Haute South and Terre
Haute North to claim the Tournament Championship...this was another exciting year for the Lions at the "Classic"!

LOGAN EITEL SCORES 1,000th POINT!
Logan Eitel scored his 1,000th career point during the championship game of the Capital Classic
on Saturday night versus T-town. Logan entered the contest with 999 points and surpassed the milestone in the first
quarter of play. Congratulations Logan!
CAPITAL CLASSIC CHAMPS!
The Marshall Lions defeated the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes to capture the championship trophy at the 20th Annual Lawrence

The Marshall Lions will kick off the 2008-2009 basketball season at the "MAC" and it's gonna be a WHITE OUT! Fans are encouraged to wear
white that night. You can get your WHITE OUT
