Congratulations to the Marshall Lions on a great 2007-2008 season...
- 25-3 overall record
- 2nd place at the Lawrence County Capital Classic
- 2nd place at the Pizza Hut Wabash Valley Classic
- Little Illini Conference Tournament Champions
- Undefeated 9-0 Little Illini Conference Champions
LIONS CLAIM 2008 LIC TITLE! Congratulations
to the Marshall Lions for defeating Edwards County in the final game of the regular season by the score of 74-40 and
finishing in 1st Place in the Little Illini Conference with a 9-0 record in LIC play and an overall regular season record
of 24-2.
8th GRADE BOYS...STATE CHAMPIONS!
Marshall JHS (23-2) defeated Washington Middle School (26-2) at Wenona Fieldcrest gymnasium
on Thursday, February 14th by the score of 34-32 and are the 2008 IESA Class 3A 8th Grade Boys State Champions!

CLASS 2A TOURNAMENT GAMES ARE SET!
Marshall will play the winner of the Casey-Westfield vs Lawrenceville game on Wednesday, February
20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Robinson Regional. Click on IHSA Class 2A Boys Basketball Tournament for all the Regional, Sectional, and Super-Sectional schedules.

LIONS CAPTURE 2nd PLACE AT THE CLASSIC!
Congratulations to the Marshall Lions for their 2nd place finish at the 2007 Pizza Hut Wabash Valley Classic! The team made history at the Classic by being the first team from Illinois to compete in the championship game...well
